Trending: Gray Schemes

Living in San Francisco's Bay Area, I've learned to embrace the Gray. It's a timeless color that is soft and neutral and makes a wonderful room to live in. I love the color best when layered in different shades. Try Farrow and Ball's Pavillon Gray with a few Polished Nickel light fixtures, and some Arabescato Marble countertops, and you will have the most sophisticated and soothing room imaginable.

Hillary Thomas - A Breath of Fresh Air

Sometimes I come upon a collection of work that just feels new and refreshing. Hillary Thomas is simply that. Refreshing! Her work is casually cool, yet uber chic. Having studied design in Los Angeles California, I have a special place in my heart for interiors that are a mix between eclectic-bohemian and Hollywood Regency. These are exactly that combination but with a California casual twist which I really like.

SF Decorator's Showcase 2014 - Lisa Bakamis

Hello there! It's been a while since we last chatted but I am back with a quick post about my favorite room at this year's SF Decorator Showcase. I have to say that there were a lot of good rooms, but i think my favorite was a Powder Room done by Lisa Bakamis. The contrast of the glam cheetah tiles with the rustic lighting and countertop was just so fresh and interesting!

I was also instantly drawn to the Danielle Mourning photograph- So Chic!
